The ultimate Disney Channel Original Movie (DCOM) reunion is officially happening. “Camp Rock 3,” the highly anticipated threequel to one of the franchise’s most successful musical sagas, has been confirmed for a Summer 2026 release, streaming on Disney+ and debuting on the Disney Channel.

The news was accompanied by a nostalgia-fueled teaser that delighted fans, featuring the return of the Jonas Brothers as the fictional rock band Connect 3, who are heading back to their beloved stomping grounds.

Connect 3 is Back in Business

Joe, Nick, and Kevin Jonas are reprising their iconic roles as the Gray brothers—Shane, Nate, and Jason, respectively. The teaser offers a short but sweet exchange that confirms their familiar chemistry and comedic timing.

“Music, friendship, memories,” Nick Jonas says in the trailer. “We’re back, exactly where we’re supposed to be,” Joe Jonas adds, before Kevin Jonas delivers the perfect meta-joke: “Still no birdhouse.”

Their return to the camp grounds is driven by a simple, yet high-stakes, plot: Connect 3 has lost their opening act for a major reunion tour. This forces the superstar band to return to Camp Rock with the mission of discovering the next big musical sensation among the new cohort of campers.

The Next Generation Takes the Stage

The official synopsis sets the stage for the drama, music, and romance the franchise is known for: “As campers vie for the chance to open for their favorite band, tensions rise, and friendships are tested, leading to unexpected alliances, revelations and romances.”

The movie introduces an all-new roster of talented campers who will be vying for the coveted opening slot:

  • Sage (Liamani Segura), described as bold and determined, and her easygoing brother Desi (Hudson Stone).
  • Camp bad boy Fletch (Malachi Barton).
  • Cello prodigy Rosie (Lumi Pollack).
  • Drummer with his own beat Cliff (Casey Trotter).
  • Choreography queen Callie (Brooklynn Pitts).
  • Intimidating influencer Madison (Ava Jean).

Joining the original cast members—which also includes Maria Canals-Barrera returning as Connie Torres—and the new campers is Sherry Cola as Lark, further diversifying the ensemble.

A Full-Circle Production

The Camp Rock franchise holds a significant place in Disney history. Both the original 2008 movie and its 2010 sequel remain among the Top 10 Disney Channel Original Movies of all time, each securing the No. 1 cable movie premiere spot in their respective release years.

While the Jonas Brothers are back on screen, the sequel is also notable for the involvement of its original star power behind the camera. Demi Lovato, who starred in the first two films as Mitchie Torres, will executive produce Camp Rock 3 alongside the Jonas Brothers, Tim Federle, Betsy Sullenger, Spencer Berman, and Gary Marsh. Though Lovato is not expected to appear on screen, their commitment to the project as an executive producer speaks volumes about the legacy and importance of the franchise.

Directed by Veronica Rodriguez and written by Eydie Faye, with choreography by Jamal Sims, Camp Rock 3 is poised to deliver the high-energy musical numbers and heartfelt drama that made the original films a cultural touchstone for a generation. It’s time for a new class to discover the magic of Camp Rock.
