This revelation emerged from depositions in a false advertising lawsuit against Lucasfilm Games and Aspyr Media, which had promised to include previously cut content in a Knights of the Old Republic 2 re-release that never happened.
During testimony, Lucasfilm Games VP Douglas Reilly disclosed that the company discussed a KOTOR 2 remake with Aspyr, codenamed “Juliet.” This remake would finally incorporate the cut content that left the original game feeling incomplete. As of March 2025, this project appeared on the company’s roadmap, though Aspyr would not be handling development.
